Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
My additional goal for my life for the next four months is to buy an extra tailoring machine. I have an ambition of starting a tailoring school where I can also teach my fellow young ladies for pay. I thought of starting a tailoring school because I now have the knowledge to impact on others and help them uplift their lives. In addition, I have a monthly income from Give Directly that I can save for a while and then buy the requirements for tailoring classes to kick off.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I am now self-dependent and this is the biggest difference in my life in the last four months preceding the current transfer. I am staying with my parents together with my child though they have no reliable source of income. Life has not been easy in that at times we sleep hungry. I used to feel a lot of pain when I see my little child stay without food the whole day. Today this is a dream because things changed drastically the moment we started receiving money from Give Directly, we eat well, my child put on nice clothes and I want to thank Give Directly for this. In addition, I managed to join the tailoring college. I used to spend part of my transfer to pay fees, now I am done with college and I am self-employed.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I expect to have established tailoring classes. Having this business in place will enable me to have an additional source of income. I will be able to help my parents financially with a lot of ease and also paying school fees for my child will not be a challenge anymore as it used to be.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
I am currently running a fishmongering business which generates income for my family. Previously, I was just depending on my mother for everything. I can now afford to buy food for my children and we can eat healthy food, three times a day. I can pay school fees for my children too. They hardly stay at home because of the lack of it. I m now independent!
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I would like to save and buy a sewing machine as I was trained on how to sew clothes. With the machine, I can sew clothes for clients and get money for the family.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
I saved the transfers from GD and started a fish-mongering business. We are in a good place right now thanks to GD. I get monthly transfers which I use to boost my business some more. From this business, I get money to pay for school fees for my children. We also eat well and wear nice and fancy clothes. That is the biggest difference in my life right now.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I will have saved and bought a sewing machine to sew clothes for and cloth materials that I can sell to generate more income for my family. I also would wish to boost my small business to earn us more income.
