How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has improved because I am fulfilling my long time plan of opening up a business which will enable me get income for meeting my family needs. Before I got the money, I had business ideas that could not be implemented due to lack of finances.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GiveDirectly did well to fulfill the promise they made to us. They promised to give us money during enrollment and it came to pass. There is nothing they are doing bad.

I am currently spending UGX 400,000 of my second transfer for setting a house for starting up a merchandise shop. I intend to use the remaining money as capital for stocking the shop.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My daily life has greatly improved in that, I'm always happy. This is because my dreams of opening an investment which will generate daily income for me are coming to pass. Previously, I didn't have money to start any investment.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was overwhelmed with joy when I received the money. I have been unemployed for long with no stable source of income but receiving this transfer restored hope in me.

I have used Ugx 150000 of my first transfer to treat my spouse and I'm still planning together with her on how to invest the balance.
