I have been able to build a new house to live in with my family. I couldn't afford to buy anything to build at my own cost, thanks to GiveDirectly because I am no longer worried when it rains. My previous house was grass thatched with no hope of upgrading, but now I am happily living in an iron roofed and decent house. I am grateful to GiveDirectly for making my dream come true.

In my opinion, GiveDirectly does well in every stage of their operations. Its perfectly done and there are no complains or dissatisfaction from us. I do not see anything that it doesn't do well.

I spent KES 30000 to buy two cows that I am currently keeping in my homestead. These are assets to me that will help me in the near future to meet my financial needs as they reproduce and multiply. I also spent KES 12000 to buy new bedding, a bed and a mattress. I can now afford to sleep comfortably unlike before when I was sleeping on mats and worn out rags. I also took a portion of the money to hire some labourers to work in my farm. I spent the remaining amount to cater for my household basic needs and other expenses.

My biggest difference is that my son is now back to work as a driver, for he is the breadwinner of the family and his job had been suspended because his licence had not been renewed and we were not able to bail him out of this situation and he was jobless for some months and clear the cost until I received the transfer.
