Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was very excited when i got the transfer message and I'm so grateful for the programme,I received the money and went to withdraw the same day because of my excitement,i had to sit down and think of ways that i can use properly
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Apparently the biggest difference is i have a very comforting sleeping place and i own a big house that is almost done amd i have food in my house i now eat 3 times a day and I'm very happy and grateful for the programme.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
Firstly i have a very pathetic sleeping place,so when i got my transfer i thought of why not changing my beddings,so first of all i went to buy an 8inch matress and 2 blankets I'm very happy tht i know sleep peacefully. After buying blankets and matress i had remained with K210,000 i thought of using this amount for house building materials like bricks and ironsheet i also bought 3 bags of maize.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
When I receive this money, I will be able to build a house with burnt bricks and iron sheets. I will also buy blankets for my family to sleep comfortably. The other money will go into buying food.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am the happiest in the afternoon when I'm able to share a meal with my family.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face in my family is lack of food. When my husband doesn't find a piece job to earn money from, it means we will not eat in our household. It is hand mouth basis.
