Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was excited about it, knowing I will afford many things I did not imagine. It was one of happiest day, wondering where this organization was when I was struggling, now I wish there were more organizations like GD.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The difference is that now I can afford most basic needs and we have a food at the household which was never the case before GD.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I bought school material and fees for my son who was selected to a secondary school. Also bought a bicycle for him to travel to school well. The rest of the money, I bought clothes and food for the household.

Receiving this money means that I can buy materials to build a comfortable and better house , I only built this small shelter because it is what I could afford with the small resources I had

I haven't been happy I was heartbroken with the ending of my marriage

The biggest challenge that I am facing is that it is hard to access clean water with the drought that has befallen us
