What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The only challenge I am currently facing is means to find food. I struggle everyday to make ends meet just so that I am able to feed myself. At present day I sometimes eat once a day and twice on a good day. Casual labour doesn't come by often these days since people don't have money to pay for work so it's hectic having to look for job and even worse so on an empty stomach.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am generally pleased when I am working on my farmland for I am a firm believer in benefitting from my sweat. So when I do my farm works I feel some sort of joy and satisfaction that there's hope I will have food after harvesting.
What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
Receiving this money means that I will first have to improve my house by buying iron sheets for the roof and cement for the floor so that I have a comfortable resting place. Having done that, I plan on buying 5 bags of maize for food hoping this lasts me the entire year. Depending on what is left, I plan to keep that money so that it helps me deal with my daily sustainance needs.
