What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on purchasing fertilizer that I used in my rice plantations. I believe my harvest will be more and that means more Income and stable family too. I also bought a barbed wire that I want to use to fence my homestead and with that I will no longer have problems with neighbor's livestock for trespassing in my compound .As my kitchen garden will be safe. Using 16000 KES,I bought a calf that i will us to pay my wife's dowry according to our traditions . I also bought food using the remaining amount.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that at the moment I am able to rely on my own to feed my family. My rice plantation is doing so well. Thanks to GiveDirecly for the transfers.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, GiveDirectly has done well in giving us hard cash directly without having to pass through anybody. I have not seen anything they have not done well in so far in.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on clothes,maize,mattress,iron sheets to build a kitchen ,an oxen which will help in preparation of the farm,steel door and window which are strong and spent most of the transfer on purchasing a bicycle that will really help me when going to work.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I managed to purchase a bicycle and as a casual labourer, right now I go to far off place very fast and also save atleast 100KES used on transport everyday.

I am planning to spend my transfer on buying carpentry tools and equipment, so that I can start my carpentry workshop.

The achievement I am proudest of is paying dowry for my wife,which has given me peace with my in laws.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I am facing in my life is lack of enough food, because here we only harvest rice once in a year, and this is hardly enough to feed the family all year round.

The happiest part of my day is in the evening when I am strolling around the village and meeting friends.
