How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
From the monthly investments I make using the transfers I get, I am able to improve the monthly returns from this business. This allows me to further invest back to the business and some of it goes into making our lives comfortable. The biggest difference, therefore, is the fact that financially stronger and stable. Currently, I do not have a new goal. I just want to continue improving and expanding my tea business. I hope to continue saving and hope for improved pricing of the crop to allow us to reap more from it.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life ever since Give Directly came into my life is that I was able to invest the transfer in my tea leaves business. I normally buy tea leaves from farmers and sell them at a higher price to the factory. My ability to buy more tea leaves has increased which has also increased my profits. I know with time my financial stability will also improve with time if all goes well.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
My expectation in the near future is to be able to have made enough savings to be able to buy a plot and build. Having continually invested in my tea business, I hope I will make enough returns later to help me build a plot. This I will lease out and get some income. I will be able to better look after my family well. This will generally improve our lifestyle.

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
My life is different ever since I started receiving transfers from Give Directly because I am now able to buy and lease land using the monthly transfers I normally get from Give Directly. This has led to increased earnings hence enabling me to take care of my family. We are now healthier and happier because we can afford to buy enough food and dress well.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
I am planning to lease some piece of land and plant potatoes and maize. I chose to plant these crops because they do well in this season. I also had enough seedlings for these crops. They also have a ready market, usually, the retailers come and harvest the crops from my farm on their own. I am really hoping I will have a good harvest because this will guarantee us enough food until the next season. I will also be able to pay school fees for my children and cater for other household needs easily.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I am able to take my child to a private school. He was almost dropping out of school due to lack of funds but managed to ensure that he continues with school once I started receiving transfers from Give Directly. I knew my child would continue studying even though I was not stable financially. I love him so much and I would have done anything to ensure he never dropped out of school. I thank God this organization came through because I managed to take him to school that was even better.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
My expectation next goal is to buy a plot and start a business. I have not decided on the kind of business I want to do yet because I am still weighing my options. But once I buy the land I will decide the kind of business considering the location and the target audience. The business must be able to increase my income and enable me to meet my family's financial needs. It should improve our standards of living.

Currently life from how it was four months ago.I am so happy because my childs edauaction has been secured as school fees is not a problem any more. I ams alo hpeful to get soem good money at the end of te month due to trade in tea leaves. I deliver more tea leaves to the factory that will yield a yearly bonus to boost my financial status. this will furtehe help in sschool fee payment inthe coming year.

I plan to keep paying school fees for my child in a private primary school because I want her to get a good education offered in that school. The quality of education in private schools is better than public and that is why I would love her attending the private school.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life for the last four months is the ability to constantly pay school fees for my children. My child in a primary boarding school has had her fees paid which means her studies will not be interrupted. Her being in school is my biggest joy and makes me a proud mother.I am also at peace knowing that at least every month there will be money to do this.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
Given that I am buying tea leaves from other farmers and supplying it in large scale now, In the next six months, will have increased my earnings. I will be more financially secure and will not have to worry about how to take care of my family's needs. I shall have stabilized my sources of income just through GiveDirectly transfers.

My life is currently different because I now have a cow. I have also have managed to pay school fees for my children in school.I then have the ability to buy some clothes for my chhildren.
