How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My goal is to build a decent house for my grandchildren and I, I have been living in a old house for years now and it is not comfortable any more for my family, if I build the house, it will make me happy and relex in this my old age.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly does well by helping us unconditionally without any strings being attached to it, they are also concerned about us by checking on us anytime we receive the transfers, they are also kind and patient during interviews with us. I don't have anything to say about GiveDirectly because they are doing everything well in my opinion.

I used my recent transfer to buy zinc and other building materials to start my house project, I also bought food with some of the money for my family, I paid my three grandchildren school fees and I saved the remaining amount for future purposes.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I am Bendu Fahnbullah from Nyamah Town, Bomi County Liberia. I was very excited upon receiving cash transfer massage from Givedrectly because, I been planning to build my own house for the past one year but to no avail due to lack of money.
