What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
I plan to buy a dairy cow worth USD789 which will provide us with milk for both domestic use and selling to get money that will help us acquire basic needs in order to reduce stress of thinking how to get food for my people and minimise hectic work that affects my health.
I also think of purchasing two bulls at USD263 each for my two sons who will look after them and sell after some time in order to raise money for buying land and settle on their own.
Then the balance of USD526 will support us build kirals where to keep these animals from under zero grazing so that thieves can not steal them.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I harvested coffee which enabled me get money that helped me meet some needs like buying food, soap, salt and indeed this saved me from going to the forest to collect firewood hence resting for some time without doing such hectic work.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I currently face a problem of getting food for my people where I go the forest to fetch firewood and sell in order get what to eat. When I don't collect firewood from the forest, the chances of accessing food becomes very minimal and all this comes as a result of landslides that occured just mitres from our home and destroyed almost all the gardens we had hence leaving with no reliable sources of food to survive on.
