What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on roofing my house and paying labourers. I also rented land on which am to put a sugarcane plantation to enable me get some money in the future.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I would still be renting and suffering to get what to eat especially following the recent famine however my life is different in a way that i now own a house and am able to facilitate for my needs because of the transfers i received.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GD does well giving us money without asking for a bribe for one to be enrolled.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on buying a plot of land for agriculture. Initially we argued about who would use our parents land to cultivate per season since the land was small.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My life is okay because I worry less these days. I used to worry about where I would get money to rent land for cultivation whenever the season kicked in however I now have my own land that i bought with the transfers.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on buying a matress and a bicycle. The bicycle is to help me aid transport in long journeys and most importantly transportation of water since we fetch it from far.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I felt so happy when I received the money and I immediately sat with my wife and drafted the budget.

I am planning to spend my transfer on plastering, cementing my house and the remaining balance to buy some livestock.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The proudest achievement in my life is buying a plot of land, it's on this plot I constructed my house.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship currently is limited land for cultivating because this is my major source of money to support my family.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest part of the day is in the morning when I am in my maize garden.
