How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
There are changes that I have achieved after getting the transfers. One is being able to construct an iron roofed house, the other is that I have acquired household items that were not in place before for example a solar, a better mattress, chairs, good utensils. Before, We were sleeping in a grass thatched house with a roof that leaked on rainy days. I did not have good household items .
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly is a truthful organisation, they did well to enroll me at household level and deliver the finacial support as promised. Every thing is good about the way they operate, they did not do any thing bad.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I used my second transfer for buying materials (timber, nails, bricks, cement) for completing the house that I started constructing with the first transfer. I paid the constructors and bought food.
