Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was very happy and I could not believe that I had recieved the money. I was beyond happy.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Right now I have a good looking house and I am sure that soon I will have a well plastered house that will be secure from the rains.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
When I recieved the money, I bought 13 iron sheets for the back on my house because I used second hand iron sheets and they were in bad condition. I also went on and bought 4 bags of fertilizer in advance in so that I nolonger face problems with farming when the farming season comes. I also bought 4 bags of maize for food. What does receiving this money mean to you?
This money means a good and comfortable home for me and my grandchildren. I look forward to start renovations for my house especially the windows and cement for the floor. The other will go towards fertilizer and livestock especially goats.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am always happy anytime of the day especially the days when I cook doughnuts and people buy them. This is good as I get to afford some minor basic needs for the day.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I suffer from high blood pressure at times. This always restricts me from doing heavy work. I also have a deformed finger due to an unknown infection and this has affected how I do household chores.
