How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My major goal is to build a house for my children. I has been living in a tech house and i feel uncomfortable especially during rainy season. I am happy that Givedirectly came and change my life. Moreover my children eat twice a day that's give me joy. I'll like to start a business that will enable me to substain my children and I.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly has done so much for me especially in my daily life. My life is changing gradually through the help of Givedirectly program. I have seen any bad about Givedirectly.

The money i received from Givedirectly i used some to buy food. I also bough mattress zinc and materials for my house project. Am grateful to Givedirectly for giving me a better life.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was in my village hearing people saying that the givedirectly money has come. I run quickly to the network areas to check if I have received mine. When I checked I saw a huge amount of money in my account. I was very much happy, because since my whole life I haven't received such of money for free without paying back.I was happy because my plan was to build my own house in my village, that's why I soon as I get the money I decided to accomplish my plan. Because before than I used to take people clothes to watch for money before my children and I eat. But with the help of givedirectly now my children are in school and eats twice a day.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my daily life now is that I'm able to buy food for my family, I also able to improved my leaking roof. My children are all healthy and in school. Many thanks to Givedirectly for their support.

I was able to buy Mattress, Food, Cement and Iron sheets to improved my leaking roof. The rest of the money I was able to paid my children school fees. I'm so thankful to GiveDirectly for making my dream come to passed.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
My plan for the cash transfer is to pay my children's school fees and build a house for myself as i now stay in my brother's house.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Iam so happy that GiveDirectly is in my community today and is talking to me, i believe that after my interaction with GD my life is going to have a little boost because of the cash transfer that is being promised to me.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Iam facing challenges with paying my children's school fees to the extend that everyone of them dont get enrolled at the same time, i enroll them one at a time depending on the money iam able to get at the time secondly, i feel underprevileged that i dont have a house of my own, at this point in my life iam still squatting at my brother's place.
