What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent 8,400 KES to buy 12 bags of cement, sand for 16,000 KES, murram for 14,000 KES and paid 4,200 KES as labour to complete the house. The rest of the transfer was spent on food and other daily HH expenses.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I was living in the market centre but now I have constructed my own house and am not paying for rent anymore.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I used 4,200 KES to buy 7 pieces of iron sheets which I'll use to build a new house. Used the remaining portion to buy building building poles.

I'm planning to build my own house because as at now, I live in a rental.

I am planning to spend my transfer on starting a business of shopkeeping and poultry keeping.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement that I am proudest of is that I have been able to establish a family and this is what makes me proud.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I face in my life is that income from motorcycle taxi business is not stable and this at times is a challenge as it makes me to be among the last people when it comes to paying rent and also buying food on a daily basis is not easy as at times I don't have any cash to buy food.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is when I go out in the morning to do my taxi business and I manage to come back home with some cash that we can buy food with. This makes me happy.
