Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
After moving into the new house, I still have a feeling that I should do better in furnishing my newly built house. I want to change the outside walls from mud into a concrete wall. I am currently buying sand then the next plan will be to hire a mason who will complete the construction.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
After receiving my first transfer, I made a decision to spend all the monthly transfers in sourcing materials for the construction of a new house. It has been a long journey since then but I am grateful that I am finally seeing the fruits of my patience. For the last four months, this is the biggest difference in my daily life. I have been able to move into the newly constructed house and now feeling good that I am no longer living in the old grass-thatched hut.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
In the next six months, I expect to have completed the walls of my house and to also reduce the dust on the floors, I will consider plastering the floor. I am hopeful that the savings I have will be enough to facilitate the whole process within a very short period of time.

My life is currently different in that I can now eat well and I have a descent roof over my head. I was abandoned by my husband long time a go and I even do not know his whereabout to date. I have always struggled on my own to make ends meet and it is sad that I could not accomplish most of the things that that I thought I would achieve. Most of my children did not get the necessary education that could at least change their lives and they are a struggling lot with their families as well. This has left me with no one to depend on except myself. GiveDirectly transfers have enabled me to improve my house and meet other basic household needs. I am looking forward to buying a dairy cow and maintain the same living standards even after the transfers are over.

Being neglected by my husband at a early stage of our marriage is the biggest hardship I have faced in life. I am glad God has been merciful with us.
