What does receiving this money mean to you?
If I'm successful to receive the GiveDirectly Cash transfer, I intend to make market to substain my family. Though I make farm but the money I earn from the farm is what I use to spend on food. I am a single mother and don't have anyone to help me pay my children school fees. My spouse that used to help me make big farm abandoned my children and me since two years ago. We have only been surviving by the mercy of God through friends and love ones who helps us brush our farm because I don't have money to pay for workers.
What is the happiest part of your day?
What has brought me joy or happiness in the last six months is when my father gives me $500.00 Liberian Dollars in September 2021. I was happy because I didn't had money to buy food for my family and the fact that my father gives me money to buy food brought so much joy to me.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship facing me currently is the lack of money to make business.Though I make farm but the money I earn from the farm is what I use to spend on food for the family. I am a single mother that is struggling to provide for my family. My spouse that used to help me make a large farm of which our farm used to produce ten bags of cassava daily that I used to sell seven bags a day that was enough to provide food for my family has abandoned me and my children because of another woman. The money I earn from the farm is not enough to make business therefore I will appreciate any assistance provided to me by GiveDirectly to improve my livelihood
