How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My new goal is to renevate my house, by plastering it with cement and laying the floor. Making my house decent and comfortable has always been my long awaited dream, that dream is now becoming a reality through Give Directly and I'm grateful for that.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give Directly has done us so much well and we are grateful for that.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
My recent transfer will be spent on purchasing cement to plaster my house, only a few portion will be used for consumption purposes.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Since I started receiving payment from GiveDirectly, I am a very happy person now. For the passed three years I have been living in house with a leaking roof with no income or financial help from anywhere or anyone. I always had sleepless nights whenever it rains. Everywhere will be soaked, leaving all my belongings wet. Presently, my goal is to change the entire roof of my house to a better and guarantee roof. In so doing; I am planning on buying the remaining one bundle of zinc for the project using a portion of my transfer. Secondly, I am also planning to used some of the money to buy five bag of cement for the floor casting. Moreover, the remaining money Will be spend as workmanship for the contractors.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has done and continue to do an excellent job. From the selection process to payment time they have done so well. With the level of professionalism and patient from their Staffs is unthinkable. They are doing so much wonders in our lives. What couldn't be done in years in our various lives as beneficiaries is now falling into place just within an twinkle of an eye. I am so overjoyed to be a part of this unique financial program. Honestly, I have not seen anything wrong done by GiveDirectly. My gratitude to the loving and caring people of GiveDirectly.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
With my goal and desired to change the entire roof of my house and do some renovations, I am planning on using some of the money to buy the remaining one bundle of zinc as additional to the first two bundles bought previously. Furthermore, I am planning on using some the money to buy five bags of cement for the floor casting also. Additionally, the remaining money will be spend as workmanship for the contractors. I am very excited imaging that before the next raining season my house will be a better place to sleep and my worries about the leaking roof will be over. Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was very happy the moment that I received my money.Happy because I am a farmer,and being a farmer is not an easy thing.My farm could not produce much crops that will enable me feed my children.

The biggest difference in my life since I started receiving money from GD is that I am able to change the roof over my house.I can also afford good food for my family and my children are now in school.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I am living in a mud bricks house and I do not have enough money to fix it. If I get this money from Give Directly, I will use it to fix my house.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Nothing has ever brought joy and happiness to my life as compare to recieving this telephone from GiveDirectly with the hope that I will get enough money to improve my life.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I am a mother of three children, they are out of high School. My biggest problem is the lack of money to sent my children to College.
