How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I decided to run after my health problem and my children fees as well, the remaining money is being kept, I will decide on what to do with it.

Give Directly has done so much for my family and I. We are indeed grateful to God for them. I never had it to eat or even take care of my children fees in school, but through GD I'm what I am today and I bless God for them.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
No! I dont have any new goals.Things haven't been so good.I have been making small business. The business wasn't going well because I don't have all of the items people need. I been wishing to add up more goods to my business. I was so excited when I received my transfer. I am happy now that my life will change for the better.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion GiveDirectly does not do anything wrongly. We are so excited for what they are doing for us. They are giving us huge amount of money and not asking for anything in return. It's overwhelming. Hopefully, after receiving all of the transfers our lives will never be the same again. Our lives will get better.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
Things have been a bit difficult. I been making business. My business wasn't moving like I expected. I didn't have all of the things that people need. I was astonished when GiveDirectly came to my town with this cash program. I was excited when I received my transfer. This is a golden opportunity. Money that I never expected since my existence. I have never seen this kind of money before. I'm so excited that the lives of my family will never be the same again. I bought more goods for my business. I also used some of my money to buy a bag of rice and some food items. I used the rest to buy few clothes for my children.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I do not have any new goals since I started receiving transfer from GiveDirectly. I have not been working or making any business. I've always been a housewife. Our family burdens has been on my husband only. So, before receiving this second transfer my primary goal was to start a new business. I feel privileged to be enrolled into the GiveDirectly Cash program. I am so happy that I can now support my husband with the business I'm going to start.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly is doing extremely well. They give us money and asked for nothing in return. They do not discriminate during the enrollment process. That is amazing! In my opinion, that GiveDireclty staffs do not receive gifts of good will from anyone is something we as villagers feels that they are not doing well. However, the only thing we can do is to appreciate them in our weak ways for the great assistance they have given to us.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
The mattress I have been sleeping on is not in a good condition. I have always been praying to get money so that I can buy a new one. Now I feel excited that GiveDirectly have made my dream come through. Firstly, I used some of the money to buy mattress. Our family burden have been on my husband alone but with this money I can be of assistance. I bought some food and started a new business to help better our family life.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
The house I am living in now is not my own house.I have children and the one room we occupied can not contain my family. The house belongs to my mother-law. So I am planning now to build a house for my family and myself if I am successful to receive transfer from Givedirectly. I also plan to start a business because now my husband is not working, the farm that we have is not large to feed us, many days we dont eat because when we go on the farm , we sometimes dont get food from there for consumption. I want to start a business like, frying doughnut, cookies, and selling rice and argo oil.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I stopped seeing my father for close to six years. This brought me so much worried because he was not well. Last month he left from where he was in the village and came to my aunty place and send message that I should go and see him.I went there and saw my father and was so happy to meet my father. And mt greatest joy today is receiving a phone from Givedirectly and I am so much grateful to God and very happy seeing Givedirectly here today.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I was selling small market in the village and I joined the village saving club.My father got sick few months ago ,I was called upon by my father biggest sister to send some money because of his illness.I am a part of Kpah's Town Saving Club ,so I credited LRD 11, 000 and added some of my market money to send to my aunty to take my father to HOSPITAL.Now my major challenge is ,I have tried hard to pay back the money I credited from the club but to no avail. Things have become so difficult that I can not afford paying the money back. I dont know where to get the money from because the club will be closing October 30th and I need to pay back the money before the 30.
