I spent my first transfer to pay off a debt at UGX 1,200,000 and after I able to repossess my piece of land. I also bought 3 mattress, and utensils at UGX 350,000. I have not yet spent UGX 150,000 but I am planning to spend it with the second transfer to acquire 3 cows.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I learnt that I had received my money at around 8:00 am. I became very happy that moment because I had received money for acquiring mattresses.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I have acquired 3 mattresses which have given me and other family members comfortable night sleep. Further more, I was in position to pay off the debt I had that enabled me to repossess my land from the money lender. Before receiving this transfer, my children were sleeping on mats and I on very old mattress which was uncomfortable. I also didn't have hope of repossessing my piece of land because I had failed to raise the money to pay off the debt.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship that I am faced with is providing for the family alone as a single parent.
Treatment, feeding and all needs of a household are taken care of by me and yet the source of income is not clear.
I happened to meet men who just impregnated me and disappeared.They don't care to know how I am fairing with the children.
Life is a strugle for me.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am happiest in the evening when I am seated with friends.
I am able to get new ideas.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means I will be able to start up a business which can generate more income for me.
Currently, I am working with a friend as an employee but I don't really feel comfortable with my status. There is no money.
I also hope to buy house hold items for my home when I get this transfers.
