How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I ha new goal and that is to build my house and after that I will use my last transfer to buy cement to plaster my house and also cement my floor.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
I my own mind GiveDirectly did well because where our hand could not reach we have reach there with the help of GiveDirectly. The only thing I don't like about GiveDirectly is they do not received anything from people which sometimes make us to feed bad as recipients.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I am planning to buy cement and pay workmanship with my last transfer once I make a plan to cash it out.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
RE: I have been living in a very horrible condition since the death of my husband, I had to begged for everything even food ingredients just to survive. I have been taken for granted by most people in this community because i cannot afford and i have a deficiency with hearing. I had to do everything for myself as far as falling trees to make my farm doing farming season, until later my niece decided to take me in and since than she had been the one caring for me. My biggest dream is to see myself in my own house because i have slept on the floor so many time, sleeping with rats has not been easy, but I had to except it because that was the only available place at the time. In other to have my own house I have bought zinc to start building my house so before givedirectly transfer stop coming i hope to finish my house which will be my happiness day. All thanks to givedirectly.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
RE: As far i can see and remember givedirectly is doing very well from the enrolment process up to present their system is really good. Every individual from givedirectly that had ever come here to talk to me had been kind and friendly. For me, i have not really notice anything that givedirectly is not doing well. Meanwhile there's little issue a lot of us(recipients) are often talking about which is some little struggle at times with cashing out transfer, this area have only one cashout area therefore most of the time there's no money and most people have to travel Buchanan,Grandbassa to cashout which is stressful at times. So i will grateful if givedirectly can talk to Lonestar to give the mobile money agents enough cash for cashout.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
RE: As i have been taken for granted by most people in this community, because i cannot afford and i have a deficiency with hearing, i guess it is time to rebuild myself. I had to do everything for myself as far as falling trees to make my farm. I have desired to start my life all over again with this givedirectly transfer, therefore i am going to purchase a mistress and all house utensils like: pot, dishes, buckets among others with this my second transfer. I see givedirectly transfer as a chance life has given me to start over and this time am going to make the most of it.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
RE: "I was cooking my dry rice in the kitchen i heard shouting every part of the town so i ran outside to find out what was happening then i was told by neighbours that givedirectly have send the money, right away i ran to get my phone and asked someone to check it, when they check the money was there i started rejoicing and dancing."
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
RE: The biggest difference for me is the endless joy i feel by the thought of having my own house very soon, because of this givedirectly money i am about to own a house which is a dream come through for me. I could never imagine having a decent place to sleep nor even dream of owning a house because am not working nor doing anything to get money or take care of myself. People always have to do everything for me, therefore the room am even living in presently is very bad and in a very poor condition, rats and inserts are everywhere in the room. But very soon it will all be over because i will have my house.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
RE: " As a person with disability ( hearing issue) i am going to use my money to buy my zinc next week, i want to build my own house and buy my mistress with the rest of my money ."

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I have my house that was built by my late husband Jacob Karr and I in 2004. The house is now a delapetated structure that led me to move in Cecelia Bamgo house where I have been for many years . I will renovate our delapetated structure to a modern bricks house if I am opportune to receive the cash through Givedirectly .
What is the happiest part of your day?
With all the difficulties face with , I praise God Almighty for waking me up strong and safely every morning to continue my day to day struggle. I was so excited few months ago when my junior brother Tarpeh, who lives presently in Monrovia sent me rice along with cooking utensils . Those materials served me for few months and it reduced my daily struggles to a minimum level. So I was happy with in that very few months .
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I have no house for myself and I am residing in someone house for refuge .The matress I have now for my room in Cecelia Bamgo house is so flat that I feel uncomfortable lying on it . I have to struggle to find food since my husband passed away many years ago on a daily basis. I most often feel miserable seeing my delapetated structure dropping slowly because I have no means to renovate it . These are my greatest challenges I am facing right now.
