What does receiving this money mean to you?
The money will meant reconstructing my life both financially and socially. I was married for 5 years and together we went and settle in Lilongwe. Whilst there, my husband decided to go to South African for green pasture with a promise that he will be sending money each and every month for rent and up keep. That promise was met only few days. Then it reached to an extended that he put my phone number on black list and he avoided all calls from Malawi. That's when I called my mother to send transport money for me to return home. Since I returned, my life has not been the same. I lack alot of things such as clothes, food and proper housing. Here at the village, I am able to make K1500 per week which is mostly used for food. I have 3 children, who are both under 13 years. My source of finance came from piece work. With the money I will start selling fish. I dream to have a very big business that I will be able to supply them to big super markets. From the business I will be able to build a good house and I will be able to educate my children.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the past 6 months, there was nothing that bought me so much joy than my son who got position one in his class. That alone, was a recipe for success.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The main Challenge that am currently facing is financial support. I have nobody whom can help me financially
