How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
In my life i have always wanted a good house with iron sheets. I could not build the house i wanted due to my financial status. The money i get was not enough to build the house. So when i was enrolled in the programme i knew this was finally my time to build my house and my goals have not changed till my last transfer.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly is one of a kind organisation. Its staff make sure they enroll every person that fits the criteria and make sure that there is no fraud in this programme. For this and every process that the field officers do i would never want any change in how your organisation works
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
With the farming season coming up, i have used my transfer on seeds and fertilizer for my farm. Seeing as i built my house with the first transfer i had remained with roofing and putting cement on the floor of my new house so the rest of the transfer has been used on improving the house i just built.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I would like to express my gratitude to GD for being considered in this program. I don't take this opportunity for granted. My house is very small and not nice. I plan to use the money to buy iron sheets and mould bricks and build a house. I also intend to buy bags of fertilizer in readiness of the next growing season. I will also buy more food for the remaining days of the season.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am always happy when I sell my harvest.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Shortage of food is the main challenge.
