What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on expanding my cereals business which had started failing due to lack of adequate funds for it's operation. I am happy that the business is doing so well today more than any other business in the area. Part of the transfer was spent on settling some school fee arrears I had in school that would have denied my son an opportunity of picking his K.C.S.E certificate after completion of his form four.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has greatly changed since I began receiving the transfers. At least I can say that for the next one year, my son will not suffer from lack of school fee or any school-related requirement as all those were comfortably catered for by the transfers.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, I can say that GiveDirectly has done a lot to ensure that people's lives are transformed and development driven in various sectors of the community. I can proudly say that, contrary to other organisations, GiveDirectly has ensured equity amongst the community members by sending them equal amounts of transfers.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I have built a kiosk and stocked it with grains and legumes with the whole of my second transfer. I thought deeply and realized that this was the business I could run to fend for my family since providing for them had been a long term challenge. In my community people hate beggars.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life after receiving transfers from Give Directly is the fact that I have been able to fend for myself and provide for my household members. I am no longer a beggar.
