What did you spend your second transfer on?
I did spend my transfer to help me finish building my house. I previously was living in a grass thatched house and I did not like it. Hence opted to build a better house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion , I have witnessed development that was brought about by the transfers that were issued by GD. There is nothing bad that is recorded of GD.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The difference is that I currently live in a better house with comfort and I have been able to pay school fees with ease.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on completion for my house that was stalled (30,000 KES) ,2 bags of dry corns (6,000 KES) and paid fee and shopping for my child at the School for the disabled
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment when I received my money I felt indescribable joy because I never imagined ever getting a Grant myself, and here I am , having completed a housing Project that had stalled for over one year due to lack of funds.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
My biggest hardship is lack of proper source of income to enable me get enough school fees for my children.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest time of my day is in the morning when Im involved in some work because that is where I get my daily income.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money to me is God given luck. I never knew I could get such money but I'm happy to be receiving this cash as it will change my life.
