Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
In the next four months, I am thinking of investing in poultry farming. This is because the project is less involving and requires very little financial input to initiate it. The income I will be generating from the sale of eggs will enable me to pay monthly NHIF contributions. This will help us afford quality medication. I feel proud of my self because now through this venture none of my family members will die due to lack of proper medication
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that since I have been able to meet my weekly medical expenses. I have a chronic illness that requires a lot of attention. The medication is usually expensive and at times I couldn't afford to buy the medicine on a regular basis. Give Directly came into my life my health has improved because I have never missed any prescribed medicine. I am grateful to this organization for enabling me to cover my medical expenses
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
I expect my life to be much better in the next six months because I believe I will have managed to initiate the poultry project. I believe the business will have stabilized by that time. My health generally will have also improved because I will no longer skip doctor's appointments because of the lack of finances since I now have a medical card. The card will help me still get to be served even when I am broke

How is your life currently different from how it was four months ago?
I am currently treating arthritis and this requires that I regularly visit the hospital. The transfers that I receive monthlybhas ensure that I visit the hospital since I have the fare and money to buy medicine. Before, I used to borrow from my daughter and I did not feel good doing that. Borrowing will have start worrying how I will pay back the money but right now, I worry no more because I assured of the monthly transfers from Givedirectly. I am so happy.
Do you have any new or additional goals for your life for the next four months?
As of now, I do not have any plan, I am concentrating on ensuring that I treat the arthritis first and ensure I am strong enough before making further plans.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life in the last four months preceding the current transfer.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I am able to attend to my farm daily with my health getting better. The transfers from Givedirectly has ensured that I constantly visit the hospital to get checked and ensure that my health improves. Before receiving the transfers, I used to borrow money from my children and not always did I get the money, this meant I will miss the doctor's appointment hence the bad health.
How do you expect your life to change in the next six months?
My priority is to have my good health back so that I can have the energy to work on my farm. Once I am well, I want to improve my livestock farming by buying an additional sheep. This will ensure that I have enough assets that I can always sell whenever I have an emergency or a need to take care of.
