What did you spend your third transfer on?
I used a portion the transfer to buy 2 cows and 2 goats. I invested a portion of the transfer in farming activities although it didn't yield much due to lack of enough rain. Purchased foodstuffs for family consumption. Besides, I'm still having some money which I'll use to build a new house.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that I now have some animals and I believe in the near future I'll own a herd of animals.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on paying for medical services in a referral hospital. I have bee sickling for years but lacked cash to pay for medical services as advised by a medic. I am so pleased that through Give Directly, I managed to seek for the services and got a relief from the disease I suffered from. Besides that, I purchased some livestock as a way investing a portion of the transfers to be used in case of any emergency.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
I have seen a very big difference in my daily life as I suffer no more from the various infections I had before. My health has greatly improved all courtesy of give directly.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
My main plan is to build a new house, buy two dairy cows and lastly buy household items like furniture and utensils.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I'm proudest of is having bought some livestock which saved me a great deal when I had a family emergency,I sold some to help out.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I'm facing currently is on making ends meet,I rely on weaving mats to support my family but the income is not enough to cater for most needs. Being a widower with the responsibility of raising my children alone makes it even harder.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when my children and I chat the night away after taking our meal.
