What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on paying school fees for my children in primary six and three. I also bought iron sheets ready to roof my house when it gets complete. I also bought grass to repair my grass thatched house as I finalise my iron roofed house.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, what Give Directly has done well is to help reduce poverty among the people in the village since many people have built permanent houses and their feeding improved as well.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if i never recieved the transfer because i would still be having very many problems and as such, increasing problems. But then, the cash transfer has changed my life and enabled me to reduce on my financial needs such as, pay fees for my children, build a big permant house that will accommodate all my family unlike before when I had the grass thatched house that was hard to maintain since it needed to buy grass almost every year.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on buying two ploughing bulls at a total of 1,400,000 ugx and the balance, I bought a bag of maize to help my family in feeding.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I recieved my money, I was exited and happy. I shared the news with my wife and woke my children up to pray and thank God for the Organization and making me a beneficiary.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, now there is joy in my home because I was able to replace the bulls that I had sold for my son to go to school. I am also having a healthy life now as before because I used to a lot of thoughts and had developed ulcers but it's gone.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face is sickness which leads to hugher. because when you are sick ,you can not do garden work hence low crop productivity and low household income.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of a day is evening times, especially when am going to bed with my spouse. because she likes craking jokes which makes me so happy .
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money will help me to buy household utensils to replace the old and broken onces.
