How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Firstly my thanks and appreciation goes to the givedirectly family. I am so happy that I was enrolled on this program. My life has changed for the better, life been so hard on me in that to even get food for my family used to be very difficult for me. But I am grateful. Even sleeping place used to be a challenge for me. But now i am building a big house in my village. My children are all health and in school, I am so happy for that.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion givedirectly did very well in my life and that of my village. Givedirectly was able to enrolled almost the entire village. There are so many New houses with in my village all from the support from givedirectly. There's nothing that givedirectly has done well.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I was able to buy zinc four (4) bundles to build my house in my village. I also paid the workmanship for the project. I used part of my transfer to buy my children food and clothes.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was going on my farm early morning when I heard people shouting that givedirectly has sent our money, I quickly run to the network areas to check if I have received mine, luckily for me I saw a huge amount of money in it. I felt very happy and rejoicing that day. I was happy because I haven't seen people giving money to people free with out paying back. So for me to received such money is a blessing for me. I farmed for living. Life been so hard on me, to even get food for my family used to be very difficult for me. I am very happy that I was enrolled on this program.
