What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
In the first place I will buy 3 bags of fertilizer and apply in my maize field which is about 1.5 acres. This would give a guarantee that next year I will have sufficient food stock. Next I would buy livestock like 2 goats and some chicken. These would come in handy in future as I have always wanted to venture into livestock selling business and I feel like these funds would help me start up that business.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The fact that I am still alive and I get to interact with my friends in the village brings me joy. Aside from that there's nothing really that I would say has been a source of joy in the last 6 months.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Scarcity of food in my household is a problem. The maize you saw inside the house we bought with the little money we got from our firewood selling business and it's not even enough to sustain us through this year. Lack of money to buy fertilizer is another challenge I am facing. All these bring about worry in my life.
