What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent most of my transfer to iron sheets and timber which I have used to build my new house which is much bigger that the one I was living in. I also dug and built a pit latrine in my compound because I was using my neighbor's and this would always bring conflicts among us.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that, I now live in a big house which I could not dream of building due to my financial status and this makes me very happy and proud as a man. Thank you GD
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly did well by providing unconditional cash transfers, leaving recipients to make their own decisions on how to spend the money. What they did not do well is stopping transfers of those who did not spend their transfers wisely.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my life is the happiness which now exist in my heart due to dowry that has been taken to my parents. This is because, a according to our customs, any woman whose dowry hasn't been paid is worthless and shouldn't talk among other women. Therefore, now I'm worthy and I can contribute where other women are talking. This is so wonderful.
