I spent my third transfer on building a new house that is still under progress (47,000 KES) because we had always wanted to relocate to our own compound as a traditional requirement but had no funds until GD supported us.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
When I received my transfer,we had plans of purchasing a piece of land for establishment of our own compound. So we paid the whole amount towards that land which costed a total of 70000 KES. We are so proud of the land because it was the biggest project we had ahead of us.

The biggest difference in my daily life is the acquisition of the piece of land that we've always admired

I spent my first transfer on buying a bag of maize for my family's consumption 5000 KES and household expenditure 1000 KES. I added stock onto my small scale business 2000 KES.I paid school fees for my three who are in primary school 800 KES. I also bought three school shoes 1000 KES
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received my first transfer,I felt very happy since I was certain of achieving most of my goals such as paying school fees for my children and now I am longer worried of my children being sent home to fetch for school fees by their teachers.

The biggest hardship that I have faced is, feeding my family on a daily basis with the low income that I get from my farming.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the afternoon after finishing my work, resting and with my friends.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money will bring a big change in my life.This is because I will eventually buy a piece of land, build my own home and move out of my father's compound.
