How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life has changed in a very big way I have a beautiful strong house now unlike before give directly came to our village
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give directly did well on coming to the villages and do the surveys house by house because had it been it was the chiefs choosing the names of the recipients am so sure there was going to be corruption
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have been living in a grass thatched house built using mud my entire life I never thought i could ever live in a burnt brick, ironsheet roofed house thanks to Give directly my thought were just thoughts I have finally managed to build a strong burnt bricks with Cement and ironsheet roofed using the transfers I received

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was very happy and thankful to Give Directly . I ask the organisation to continue this initiative and support others who have been in poverty for so long like me.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
My life has now changed very much and for the better. I used to sleep on torn mats with poor beddings but now I can afford a good rest on my newly bought mattress and beddings. My children are also eating well and they are very happy.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
I have mnagaed to buy iron sheets for my upcoming house, blankets as well as mattress to prepare for the rainy season when its cold. Since we were also lacking fertilizer, we have managed to buy enough for the first time in many years as well as clothes for children.
