What did you spend your third transfer on?
I invested half of my third transfer on my clothes selling business which I had started earlier with my second transfer. I spent the other half on my husbands watermelon growing business.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Receiving the transfers has made my life different in that I now own a business and do not have to depend entirely on my husband for financial support. The two businesses have improved our financial ability to meet family needs.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Give Directly has done well in helping us plan for our transfers prior to receiving them. This has enabled us make appropriate and wise decisions on how to spend our transfers.I can't point out anything that Give Directly has not done well.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
We are planning to spend our transfer on buying melon seeds, paying for labour and other farm inputs, so as to expand our water melon project.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I am proudest of is the fact that I have always supported my children through their education, by paying their school fees and buying them other necessities.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I am facing in my life is lack of enough food for my big family, and especially because of the cost of living which has gone up.

The happiest part of my day is in the morning when I am working in the farm.
