Receiving this money will will allow me to make improvements on my house, take off this glass roof and put iron sheets. Some of the money will go buying more food so that we don't go hungry. I will also use the money to buy fertilizer and rent land to increase my cultivation land so that I am food secure next year. I will also use this as capital for my charcoal business so that I order more bags and sell in town for better prices. We usually order a bag for K2500 and sell it for K3700.
What is the happiest part of your day?
I am the happiest in the afternoon. When I wake up healthy, and able to run around to make money and provide, I am happy as a man.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced is me being epileptic. I have gone to hospitals but recently I have not being managing because I have to pay at the hospital and also, although I take the medicine, there's no improvement really and when I have episodes, they are so bad and take long to stop. In the end with lack of money, I have been going for local herbalist and I have seen improvements. This money will help cushion my family in times I can't provide because of my sickness.
