What did you spend your third transfer on?
I spent my third transfer on building a spacious decent three roomed house with a store. Now I am happy as I no longer stay in a small leaky grassed thatched house which made me be the laughing stack in my village due to my flourishing status of poverty . I also bought sand which I am planning to use of cementing my house

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer to buy building materials that I used to build an iron roofed house. I used to stay in a grass thatched house and yearly I had to look for grass which is also scarce to cover it.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I have a nice iron roofed house and I do not have to cover it with grass every year like I used to do to my grass thatched. Thanks to GiveDirectly.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on purchasing a mattress to sleep in a comfortable place since the previous one was old and used the larger percentage of the amount on buying a bag of maize for the family consumption to avoid purchasing in bits.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I received the transfer I was very happy and relieved knowing that I would be able to purchase food in my house which has been a problem and a mattress because the previous one was old.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Currently I don't have money to care for my family in terms of food provision, paying school fees and the general wellbeing of the family. This is very hard to cope with and would be relieved if I get the funds.
What is the happiest part of your day?
At knight after hard work and now relax in my house with my family I feel happy.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
This will change my life completely. There are things that I have always longed to have and I see myself having. I am a fisherman and I have to depend other people's boats to go fishing. With this money I will make my own boat, buy nets and do fishing to feed my family and take care of my needs without depending on others.
