How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
The biggest difference in my life is that, I have been in position to construct an ironed roofed house that I couldn't have built had I not received this transfer.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my pinion Give Directly has done well to give me money that has enabled me construct an iron roofed house, and Give Directly has not done any thing bad.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer for purchasing 16 pieces iron sheets at 500,000 ugx, labour for building at 300,000 ugx, timber at 200,000 ugx and 5 bags of cement at 140,000 ugx and I lent out 260,000 ugx in exchange of an acre of land. I have not yet spent 200,000 ugx but am planning to spend it to complete payment for labour for building.

The biggest difference in my life is that i can now afford food on time for my household.

The moment i received my money i was very excited.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer to purchase 17 iron sheets which costed 391,000ugx. i also bought amattress at 90,000ugx, bed sheets at 40000 and clothes for my family at 85,000ugx. The balance of the money i plan on using it to buy bricks and paying the builders who are going to construct my house.

Receiving the money is a means of giving me an opportunity to pay debts which I got and I was failing to pay.

The happiest part of my day is evening. when my children come back from school and we sit together telling stories.

The biggest hardship which I face in Family is limited finacial support for education.
