How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is currently different in that I have been able to buy a dairy cow that has since provided us with enough milk that can feed the family and even have surplus for sale. I also have been able to build a house for my son who had just graduated into manhood and I feel so proud of this achievement so far. These are things that I always wanted to achieve but I honestly do not think I would have achieved this without the help of GiveDirectly. I feel so much indebted to GiveDirectly.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In m y opinion GiveDirectly did so well in in giving out money to us unconditionally and without bias. Their criteria was so objective that everyone within and even without the village felt proud of how they carried out the entire process. I personally did not find anything with GiveDirectly that I thought they should have improved on or done better.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent part of my second transfer to build a house for my teenage boy who had just graduated into manhood and had to stay in his own house. I had seen and felt the struggle he was going through looking for a place to sleep from the neighborhood. I now feel proud as a mother having accomplished one of the most important responsibilities of a parent; that of providing shelter for the entire family.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means that I will now buy a cow which I have always wished to own. This will help me feed my children when I milk.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning. This is because the day is new.It always feels good to see another day.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I have faced in life is as a result of lack of enough education.I completed primary school and due to lack of school fees I did not proceed to secondary school. My parents had seperated at that time and life was so difficult.I feel that if I had proceeded with my studies I could be empolyed somewhere and therefore struggling less to feed and educate my children.
