What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
I have two acres piece of land which is currently lying bare due to financial challenges to cultivate it after floods swept away all the crops. I am planning to use my first cash transfers to invest in that piece of land, I will plant maize green grams and beans on it. I will use KES 30,000 of my second transfers to buy chain links and barbed wire to fence my agricultural land because we have effects of animal browsing, I will use the remaining money to pay school fees for my secondary going children, stock food for my family, buy clothes and buy chicken.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The great sales of my Vegetables brought happiness into my life because I managed to save some cash to build two rooms iron sheet house and clear school fees for my children.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I used to supply vegetables to Nakuru and eldama ravine from my farm and I was making good money enough for my farming needs but unfortunately the recent floods cleared everything including fence. I am currently struggling to cope with charcoal burning and casual labour to fend my family basic needs which is very challenging because the money I get is not enough for my family.
