How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that, I now have hopes of building my permanent structure which I never thought I would build immediately if I never received the transfer.

In my opinion GiveDirectly has helped people develop in their homes.It has not done anything wrong.

I have spent my second transfer on tea at 3000ugx and the balance 1630000ugx I plan to building materials.

Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
My life is so changed that I'm so happy that I'm going to cnstruct my house and stop cutting grass for thatching the house.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
When the phone rang I check and i found that money was there I felt so happy.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent 214000 UGX for both beddings and clothes, played 20000 UGX, medication 47000 UGX and 19000 UGX to buying and grinding maize. The remaining 1400000 UGX I'm planning to use it for house construction.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship i am faced with is sleeping in a wet floor/house more so now that the rains are back.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when i know the day is done and my children are healthy.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means i Will be able to build an iron roofed house, buy livestock and some household items.
