I spent most of my transfer to buy cattle and goats. This was a form of savings because whenever am in financial need, I can always sell one cow or goat to meet the need. I also gave my wife some amount to restock her cereals business.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different in that, I now have livestock which I did not have before and when I graze them, I feel proud. Thank you GD.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
Givedirectly did well in giving transfer which has changed the living standards of recipients and elevated them from poverty. Givedirectly did not do well in sensitizing the community to expel rumours surrounding the money.
