What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
This money mean a lot to me in the way that in case I receive the cash I plan to boost my wife's business with US£ 227.7, also boost my saloon business with US£555.5, buy 3 cows at US£ 666.7, paying school fees for my children US£148, expanding my piece of land in the trading centre at 327.4
What is the happiest part of your day?
What has brought me joy in the last 6 months is when I sold my cow and I started a small scale business of a saloon for men in my village and also a small shop for my wife at home. Another thing that has brought me joy is when the givedirectly staffs came to our village with the good news of supporting us with unconditional cash which has never been there in my life, it has brought me a lot of hope and joy.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest challange I have among others is when it rains I get worried for my young children and the grand children I stay with because the flash floods are at times very heavy especially where am staying, I fear it might sweep them away, it also becomes very called which has affected the health of the little ones. The heavy floods have also affected my garden which has led to scarcity of food and poverty which has in the long run affected our income and I have failed to even pay fees for my children and also meeting other basic needs.
