How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
I had always wanted to buy a used bike to begin my transportation business. I also needed money to buy additional goods for my shop. These businesses will serve as an alternative source of income for me to take good care of my family. GiveDirectly has become a huge blessing to me and my family. I am so pleased with this life changing opportunity provided me by GiveDirectly .
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
My own view about GiveDirectly as an integrity NGO is unparalleled. They have given hope to extremely poor people like us by reaching out to these abundant and hard to reach towns and villages. Additionally, GD is honest in delivering cash transfer to bona fide receipients.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
A huge portion of my recent transfer was used to purchase a use bike for commercial purpose. Furthermore, portion of my transfer was used to buy more goods for my shop. Transfers received from GiveDirectly has made my life better. I am thankful .

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My major concern at the moment is to complete the yearly tuition payment of my children. My husband and I have 4 children. However, due to limited income, we were only able to send one of our children to school. Therefore, with my recent transfer just received from GiveDirectly, I am going to register all of my children in school for this academic year. GD is indeed a huge blessing to me and my family.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
GiveDirectly has been doing quite well with the entire program. I am grateful to GD for transforming my life through their great financial assistance. It is indeed a huge blessing to be part of this project. All that GD has done thus far has been awesome.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
My greatest desire is to have all of my children attend school. In doing so, bulk of my recent transfer received from GiveDirectly was used to pay my children tuition for this academic year. Meanwhile, my balance transfer was used to buy food for my house. I am so pleased with this program because my dreams wouldn't have come to reality without GD financial assistance.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was sitting at home when I received my transfer from GiveDirectly. I was very excited and started singing a new song. I had always dreamed of building a bigger and comfortable house for my family. Moreover, I needed money also to pay my children school fees. With GD transfer, I can find a suitable solution to my unlimited financial problems. I feel so relieved at the moment. I am also privileged to be part of GiveDirectly's life-changing project.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
Being able to raise enough funds to build a very decent and spacious house along with completing the payment of my children school fees has been a major challenge due to limited income. However, with GD's transfer, I am able to simultaneously accomplish my goals. Meanwhile, building a house and completing the payment of my children yearly tuition has been the biggest difference in my daily life since I started receiving transfer from GiveDirectly.
What did you spend your most recent transfer(s) on?
My desire to build a big and comfortable house coupled with the task of paying my children tuition in time has been two of my main objectives. Thus, I used a huge portion of my transfer on building materials such as zinc, nails etc...The 2 bundles of zinc was purchased for $30,000LD. I also bought 3 packs of nails for $2,400LD and used some of the money to transport my building materials . The remaining portion of my transfer was used to pay my children school fees. I feel so pleased to have benefited from this program.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
My main plan for this transfers is , to pay my children school fees and build a new home. I have seven of my kids in the city( Monrovia) that stays with other family members but I take all of theirr responsibilities. The only means of doing such, its through farming and the money is not enough to solve all.
What is the happiest part of your day?
Today is my happiest day in the last six months. I was on my farm when I heard about GD in my town, I hurriedly came to see if it was true but I was unable to see them rather others with phone. I thought I wouldn't have been a part but surprisingly I saw them again. I kno I'm blessed by God to be a part of this life saving program. I have faith that, I will received this money to change my life.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The major had time I'm faced with is money. The structure my household stays in, is made of mud and covered with thatch but it leaks so much during the rainy season, that makes it so uncomfortable for resting moreover, my kids are all in school and is hard to get tuition for them. If there was money, these could have been taken care of so easily.
