I spent my entire third transfer to buy a motorcycle and also to do maintenance which I use in my transportation business
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
If l would not have received the received the money, I would not have paid school fees for my siblings. Thank you GD for the transfer

In my opinion, GiveDirectly sends recipients money which they use to change their lives. I have not seen anything that GD did not do well

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer on purchasing two calfs and bulls with an intention of using two of them to pay as dowry and keeping the remaining to get milk and help in farm work.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is the relief that I got after paying dowry which was a must and the good relationship which has been cemented with my inlaws.

I spent my first transfer on clearing school fees arrears for my child in secondary school so that he would not be sent away from school.

I plan to spend my next transfer on buying ironsheet, timber and nails and built an iron roofed house for my family because my house is in poor condition.

What are you planning to spend your transfer on?
I have two major plans with my transfer, one is to build a new house since the current one is smaller secondly I will use the remaining amount to pay school fees for my children.
What is the achievement you are proudest of?
The achievement I'm proudest of is having been able to educate my youngest brother through high school and now waiting to join college.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I'm facing currently is on paying school fees for my children and the children of my late brother,two are in secondary school and requires alot of money every term.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the morning when I'm out conducting my transport business always hopeful of getting money which I use in supporting my family.
