What do you plan to do with the cash transfer?
This cash transfer means alot to me because i will be able to purchase a piece of land at 1081US Dollars in a safe place for settlement than where am staying currently , the place i want to buy the piece of land is in namatyale, bushika subcounty. The balance which is 792 US Dollars i will use it to put up a small structure for my family and thos will improve on our standards of living.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the past six months, what has brought me joy is when i harvested my maize and the yield was very good. I managed to harvest 34 bags of maize which is equivalent to 3400 kilograms, I sold some 30bags and got a sum of 810USD of which out of it i bought a small piece of land for farming at 540USD and 1 cow for milk at 270USD.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
Currently am facing the challenge of Poverty due to lack of stable source of income, in the recent past, my wife left me because of some misunderstanding, i now stay alone and i have my 2 children who are still in primary but stays with their grandfather who is my biological father. At the moment for me to get food on my table i have to do casual labor to get some money toy the food. Another challenge is failure to fully take care of my children due to poverty.
