How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
Before this transfer, I had a plan to build my own house. So when the money came, I was able to buy house materials( zinc, nails, planks and etc ) for the building process. This program has helped us in some many ways. Now we are eating regularly, clothing,medications and many other things. I am very happy for this program. Special thanks and appreciation goes to Give Directly for putting our cash directly into our hands and affording us the opportunity to use it the way we want it.

How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My new goal is to buy my zinc and build my house and also buying my fish to sell these are plans that I have made since I started receiving this money.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my own mind GiveDirectly is doing good because for me the level that I have been is changing little by little. However I have not yet noticed any bad side of GiveDirectly.

Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I was very happy because I will use this money to start a new business to take good care of my children.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life since you started receiving payments from GiveDirectly.
The biggest difference in my life is that my five(5) children that have not been in school will go to school. I have also start a new business that will enable me to continue supporting them in school.

I have started a new business with my money. I am buy fish and selling it, in this way I will be enable even when GiveDirectly transfer stop coming. I will be able to build my house and continue sending my children to school.

What does receiving this money mean to you?
I plan to build a decent house and also do small business.
What is the happiest part of your day?
In the last 6months the only thing that makes me happy is when my son goes to fishing and he catches a lot of fish. I sell the fish and use the money to buy food( rice and oil) for us to eat for that day.
What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
I don't have money to support and send my children to school.
