How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if i never received the transfer in that i feel good because i held millions of money for the first time in life. I toiled for many years but i have never got such a big amount of money.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, Give Directly did well to give me money that enabled me acquire many things which i never had hope of getting. I have nothing to say that GD did not do well.
What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my second transfer for paying school fees of 700,000ugx, i got land on mortgage at 600,000ugx, i spent the balance on purchase of a calf at 250,000ugx and 10 chicken.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer 780,000 ugx on paying my children school fees. My four children had come home for fees and by the Grace of God, I recieved my tranfer. I am planning to use my other transfer to buy a cow and some hens as a source of investment. In case of any problem, I just sell off and get a problem fixed.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The moment I recieved my money, I felt so happy and relieved.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is having a peace of mind and taking my children back to school on time. The time my transfers were sent, I was in a total fix because my children were at home.

The biggest hardship i am faced with is lack of money to cater for the education needs of my children.
What is the happiest part of your day?
The happiest part of my day is in the evening when my children come back from school.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
Receiving this money means i Will be able to pay school fees for my children, buy a piece of land, buy some livestock.
