I spent my third transfer on cementing my house into a semi-permanent house from a mud one.I bought sofa set seat and paid school fees for my child who is in high school ,now I am peaceful at heart as I am not worried of paying school fees for her any time soon.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I spent my transfer on buying building materials which were used on extending my house to make it more spacious. I then bought a sack of corn for feeding my family and used the rest of the transfer on paying school fee for my children.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that I am more comfortable now that I live in a nice well built house that is very spacious.

What did you spend your first transfer on?
I spent my first transfer on paying school fees for my son who is in high school fees 5,000 KES and now I am happy since he is going to school now and his not being sent home every time due to school fees arrears. I also bought bedding and a bag of maize for my family's consumption.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
I received the money while at my garden working , I was very happy since I was assured of accomplishing most of my goals which I couldn't do on my own as a widow such as paying school fees for my son on time and providing enough food for my family to feed on.

What is the biggest hardship you've faced in your life?
The biggest hardship I face is, I am not able to provide for my family with enough food and pay school fees for my children in time due to lack of money. This lowers the morale of my children's performance in school. I am also facing hardship in providing food for my family due to high cost of living. I am glad since I will be able to provide food to my family with this money hence a healthy living standard.
What is the happiest part of your day?
My happiest moment is in the evening because during daytime, I don't have enough time to rest because I do a lot of activities. It's only in the evening when I relax with my family.
What does receiving this money mean to you?
I am so happy because Givedirectly has come the realization of new hope in my life since my house is in bad condition and this affects my family especially during rainy season,The amount will help me renovate my house and live comfortably with my family. I will be in a position to pay college fees for my child who finished high school but couldn't proceed with education due to lack of money.The money will also help me boost my business and make more profit hence enough food for my family.
