Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that, I'm very happy because I managed to construct for my self a permanent house to sleep in which is by far better than the house I used to stay in. This makes me enjoy my every day.
Describe the moment when you received your money. How did you feel?
The day when the transfer was sent, I heard the news from my community members. But being illiterate, I couldn't check for my account balance. However, my brother helped me confirm that I had received the transfer as well. This made me feel very happy because being an old woman, I never had any source of income or even the energy to make money to meet my daily needs.
What did you spend your first transfer on?
I have spent my first transfer to construct a permanent house. I had to buy building materials that include; five trips of bricks at Ugx800000, ten iron sheets at Ugx290000 and timber at Ugx140000. I also bought two trips of sand at Ugx160000, five bags of cement at Ugx135000 and paid the builders Ugx1750000.
