What did you spend your third transfer on?
When I received my third transfer, I cleared the whole year school fees for my 6 children in primary and secondary school and spent the rest on food. I have 9 people in my household but I was able to feed them well courtesy of Give Directly.
How is your life different than it would have been if you never received the transfer?
My life is different than it would have been if I never received the transfer because, I managed to construct a house fofr my children where they can sleep and take their homework more comfortably. This has revived privacy in my house as this was a major concern to us-they have grown big and therefore sharing a bedroom with them is just impossible. Moreover, our health have improved since we have been eating well since I started receiving this money. Affording meals was made easier to us and it was such a great experience to us.
In your opinion, what does GiveDirectly do well, and what does it not do well?
In my opinion, what Give Directly does well is that it sends us money directly but it never gave out water tanks in Arid and Semi-Arid Areas. It would be prudent it considers making the community members resilient to drought.

What did you spend your second transfer on?
I used 20,000 KES to pay my two children in high school fee. I bought 20 pieces of iron sheets which I'll use to built my son a house. I also purchased other household items with the rest of the money.
Describe the biggest difference in your daily life.
The biggest difference in my daily life is that my two children in secondary school have improved in their performance. They used to be out of school most of the time due to financial constraint but since I got GD support, they only make it home in the evening after classes.
